Toe Injury?

What a crappy week! It's rained every single day! What's up with that... not to mention it was the 5th coldest July here on record. What happened, global warming??

Another prime example of why Cora is just like her Aunt Ronni:
While trying to run away from being forced to clean up her toys, Cora "stubbed" her toe on a little box of toys. And just like her Aunt did several years ago while walking into the Water St house, Cora threw herself to the floor trying as hard as she could to prove to me she had a real injury. Too bad I knew she was lieing and was laughing at her, causing her to laugh herself.
What an actress!! Hollywood, here she comes!

Mommy had a life!

Wow! I was finally given a night off and my awesome sister, Roniqua, took me out. I was treated to dinner, drinks, a party, a street festival, then a bar.
It's been over a year since I've really been able to take a night and go out like this before. The last time I can remember being out was 2 St. Patrick's Days ago. As strange as it was to not be mommy for a night, I had a lot of fun.
Thanks, Ronni for a great night! You have awesome friends and coworkers... and you have the weirdest of the weirdos who hit on you. What's up with that? No one tried to fight you though, yea!

July 22

hello
another typical day in store for us.

cora's stealing the baby's blankets and using them as dresses, pretending she's cinderella. she put on her butterfly dress this morning and reminded me that "my ronni give me dress" and that "my papa love my dress" it's amazing how she remembers certain things!

Baba (Cora made up this name for the baby) slept very well last night (thank you, baba!) He slept from about 9-9:30 until 4:30 this morning! that was wonderful, he actually did about the same the night before. he's even doing better than expected with spreading out his feedings. the doc instructed me that he should be eating every 4 hours, not every 2-3 like he was before. so, i'm just offering him more formula at a time, and he's doing good! Did I mention he's already 15 1/2 pounds?

hi
as i am trying to make the first entry in our blog, cora-cora-cocoabean is trying to climb onto my lap. i have no time to myself anymore, what an adjustment!

so, this is what's going on in the hunter household...

"little" baby brandon had his 2 month checkup today. he is a whoppin' 15 lb 9 oz! what a big boy. he is such a little sweetie, barely cries, just hangs out when not sleeping or eating, and he smiles and talks a lot. it's so cute!

cora, is two... and boy, is she! wow! her mouth doesn't stop, her feet aren't too far behind either. she's potty-training and just at the point where i'm comfortable taking her out of the house without a diaper. this is a great accomplishment. she potty-trained with a new baby at home, a time where it's advised not to potty train but i did it anyhow. ha, i listen well. i knew she was ready... she loves being a "big girl"

brandon, is working hard as usual. he's very dedicated to his job and loves what he does. i've never seen such passion as he has for his computer and programming. not to mention his amazing love for sandwiches :)

then there's me... i'm just trying to get a job and make it through the day, every day. don't get me wrong, i love being home and spending time with the kids and i'm enjoying it as much as i can. i won't lie, nap time is normally my favorite part of each day.
